I've been friends with Doodlebug for quite some time and we had never seriously worked together. The second I heard the beat change into what would be the chorus. I knew we had to make it happen on this track.

I've worked with L'Orange on some stuff before and we usually talk a lot of shit when we connect about the NBA and our respective teams and indie rap stuff. This has a very smooth soundtrack to a scene from a movie vibe to it. I had the chorus part looped in my head for a rhythm for days and knew that I wanted it to revolve around the backing crooning adlibs. This is the perfect song to do dishes to.
